This program provides professional feedback for a post-Baccalaureate internship that is similar to student teaching. You will be in YOUR classroom to complete this internship. The awesome part of this program is that you will already have a job (getting PAID) while completing State requirements for licensure!
The internship lasts an entire school semester.
Our professional staff conduct regular observations and provide systematic evaluation of your progress as required by Indiana Statute.
No one can ethically offer this guarantee. However, we can work with you to provide appropriate feedback designed to help you reach your potential.
You will be required to take and pass all relevant State licensure exams in both Content and Pedagogy. Additionally, if you are focused in Elementary or Special Education, you will also need to take and pass the Elementary Reading Praxis (5205). We will guide you as to which exams to take. The timing of when you should take the exams depend on various factors. Our consultants can guide you!
A teaching job is required to complete the internship. However, as mentioned in FAQ 1, you will be getting paid as a contracted teacher while completing the internship. However, in order to get licensed in the content area you want, you may need to ensure that you secure a position teaching a certain subject. After reviewing your transcripts, our consultants will be able to provide expert guidance on this matter.
Yes. Our program is a state-approved internship that includes professional guidance and supervision from individuals experienced in developing new and innovative teachers. Please contact us to learn more about how our program can help you.
Yes. Our program supports and highlights the Science of Reading as an adopted framework for teaching reading. Effective July 1 2025, Indiana will also require Teaching Reading: Elementary (Praxis 5205) for all Elementary Education and Mild Interventions license applications. Interns in those areas will need to ensure they have sufficient knowledge to take that exam. We will guide interns on support resources.
